Description

2016 Ross dual shaft mixer with high speed disperser.  Model CDA-100, SN 113310. Includes (2) mixing bowls.  100-gallon working capacity, 125-gallon full capacity.  Anchor motor 10 hp.  High speed disperser, 15 hp.

GENERAL FEATURES:
-        Air/Oil hydraulic lift system for vertically raising/lowering agitators in/out of Mix Can.(80 – 100 psig) air required.  Lift includes manual safety pin to lock in raised position.
-        Stainless Steel type 316 wetted parts polished to a 150-Grit (#4) finish for ease of cleaning.
-        All Non-Stainless Steel surfaces to be painted with a two-part, white, epoxy coating.
-        Unit is designed for Vacuum Operation up to 29.5" Hg.
-        All elastomers to be Viton, unless otherwise specified.
-        Two (2) Safety limit switches to prevent the operation of the drives when the agitators are in the raised position, or when the mix can is removed.
-        Free-Standing Raised Floor Base, carbon steel (painted), designed to provide a 6" clearance beneath the  Ball Valve discharge outlet (NPT) in the bottom of the Mix Can. Base provided with Fork Channel access from front, back and both sides and includes zinc-plated Leveling Pads

AGITATORS AND DRIVES:
-        TWO-WING ANCHOR AGITATOR:
ú        Driven by a 10 HP, TEFC, inverter duty motor for operation on 230/460V, 3Phase, 60Hz.
ú        Heavy-Duty design with triangular cross section
ú        Self-Adjusting, staggered Teflon scrapers attached to the wings of the Anchor Agitator for mix can sidewall and bottom wiping while mixing

-        HIGH SPEED DISPERSER:

ú        Driven by a 15 HP, TEFC, inverter-duty motor for operation on 234/460V, 3Phase, 60 Hz.
ú        One (1) - 8" Diameter Stainless Steel Disperser Blade included.
-        Agitator Shafts to utilize single mechanical seals with Carbon vs. Stainless Steel faces and Viton O-rings.
-        Stainless Steel type 316 agitators and agitator shafts polished to a 150-Grit (#4) finish.

VACUUM COVER:
-        Stainless Steel type 316 with inside to have a 150-Grit (#4) finish.
-        Two (2) - 3" Combination Sight & Charge Ports including Pyrex glass, Stainless Steel quick release clamps and Viton gaskets.
-        One (1) – 8"Diameter Tri-Clamp Charge Port located in the Vacuum Cover. Includes stainless steel solid end cap, clamp and gasket.
-        One (1) 1” FNPT Port for vacuum / exhaust connection
-        One (1) Temperature Probe type “J” mounted through Vacuum Cover extending down into mix, NEMA 12.

MIX CAN:
-        Stainless Steel type 316 with interior polished to 150-Grit (#4) finish.
-        Flat Bottom.
-        Designed for Vacuum Operation up to 29.5" Hg.
-        50 psig Carbon Steel (painted) jacket for heating / cooling purposes.
-        Non-Sparking Caster wheels installed on mix can to provide easy movement and level positioning (Two (2) rigid, Two (2) swivel).
-        3" Manually actuated, flush tank Stainless Steel ball valve positioned in bottom for discharging purposes. As a standard, there is a 6" clearance beneath the valve to the floor.

ONE (1) ROSS SysCon Model DACS-VF-15HP, NEMA-12 Operator Control Panel suitable for use with Ross Model CDA-100 Gallon Dual Shaft Mixer and designed for 460V, 3Phase, 60 Hz power supply. Control Panel includes:
-        NEMA-12 (Dust-Tight) Painted Enclosure.
-        10 HP Allen Bradley PowerFlex 525 Variable Frequency Drive for the Anchor
-        15 HP Allen Bradley PowerFlex 525 Variable Frequency Drive for the Disperser
-        8" HMI Color Touch Screen (Red Lion Model #G308C100) with data acquisition in (CSV) file.
-        External Ethernet port

-        Model VGD-15 Vacuum Pump, for use with Ross Model CDA-100 Dual Shaft Mixer. Pump includes the following features: Driven by a 10.6 cfm, 0.75 HP, TEFC motor. Oil lubricated, rotary vane design. Includes 180 mesh exhaust filter, gas ballast, non-return valve, and oil separator. Variable Frequency Drive for Start/Stop and variable speed adjustment located in Operator Control Panel. Designed for use with 460V, 3Phase, 60Hz current. Vacuum Pump
is mounted to mixer and prewired to Control Panel.
